Partners for Sites
Network November 22nd, 2006There is one thing that I hate among all other things when it comes to building websites and blogs. It’s not writing the content or any of that. I love writing and I like to advertise and see my hard work advertising become traffic. What I hate above all is looking for themes or templates. For example, on this site, it took me a long time to find one that I felt was soothing and things like that. I like things that are easy on the eyes because I want the reader to come to the site and just relax as they read. If it’s hard on the eyes, then they strain and we don’t want that. I’m becoming a doctor to save lives, not to cause people to have cataracts.
So, today, I spent a lot of my morning trying to find a good theme for my new blog that I am making with my friend. We both looked for a while, but for some odd reason, we couldn’t find one. It’s the worse thing ever because there is so much I know I can write about, but I can’t write because the blog is not up and running. It is frustrating, but I suppose it’s the first part of building a site and/or blog. Soon, the site will be fully functional and I will be updating it, with my friend, every day. But for now, I must wait and that is the worst part.
I have decided that I like the idea of making sites with people. If you have two people that are interested in a site’s success, then there is more that can be done. More content can be written, more advertising can be done and with that, it allows for more money to be made overall. Granted, you don’t make as much because you have to split the profits, but the site grows faster and that allows for nicer profit I do believe. Sure, you get half of what you’d normally get, but the saying is true: two heads is better than one. Anyways…It’s getting late and I have to get ready for tomorrow’s big Thanksgiving day. Enjoy your nights everyone and good luck with your own sites!
It takes a lot out of me to write these blog posts. Buy me a beer to cool me off!
