I Chose my Network
Network January 16th, 2007I see a lot of people on these sites having a choice network, something they specialize in. Sure, there are people that own all different types of sites, but then there are people that own specific sites. My friend, Lithman is specializing in his sports sites. Sure, he has a few myspace sites, but those are just to earn some money on the site while he builds his network of sports sites. That’s what I want to do. I want to build a network of sites that specialize around my interest. I’ll have my few little sites that I don’t have to run, but make a profit. I’m going to be putting together a top of the line arcade and that’ll make me some money.
It’s called ArcadesCentral. Notice the s. I call it that because my plan is to build a super arcade. A lot of people buy arcades and try and profit from them, but few profit from it. I want to change that. When people make arcades, I want to give them the option for me to buy them. I don’t care if the arcades are making them money or not. I’ll be buying them based on the fact they get unique visitors. But, what I will do is take the arcade off of that domain. I will then direct that domain to my ArcadesCentral arcade in the hopes of building one big arcade. I figure if I get five or six different domains that are all getting unique visitors, then I could really see something. It’ll cost me a pretty penny, but it might give me a nice profit while I am building my network.
So, what is my network? Science. I’ve decided that I am going to specialize in science sites. Since I own SciFreak.com and Genetics Source, I figure that it might be a good idea to stick to that. I could build a nice pretty network around SciFreak.com and it might really get somewhere. Sure, it’ll take a while, but I LOVE science. And if you love something, you need to love it and work on it. And that’s why I am choosing a science network. I could work on credit card sites and insurance sites because they make a lot from adsense, but I don’t like that stuff. I like science. So, my decision has been made. I am going to specialize on science and that’s all. If I find something that I like, I might create a site or buy a site about it. But overall, I am going to focus on science. Science is my major and medicine will be my life. I might as well write about it and love it. Have a great day everyone!
It takes a lot out of me to write these blog posts. Buy me a beer to cool me off!

Found you through Lithman and been stopping by here more often. Just wanted to drop in with a comment. I think the science network is a good plan. I like science too, by the way. Cheers.

Hey Marc. Thanks for the comment. I’m glad you like science. Stay tuned for future sites. What is your favorite subject in science?

I do like genetics and evolution quite a bit, but I’m also interested in cosmology. You probably know of Carl Zimmer who writes a blog called The Loom. I think he’s a really great writer. Oh yeah, I’m really interested in earth sciences and climate change too. OK, I seem to be interested all kinds of things. Go ahead and pile technology on as well. Nanotech, Alternative energy… you get the idea.

Would you still be interested in buying an Arcade? I’m thinking about selling mine.
