Go science!
Personal Life March 28th, 2007This blog post doesn’t have a blog post sponsor because it isn’t fair for someone to buy something that is posted on a post that has nothing to do with my websites. And, I am sorry, but this post is going to be short due to the fact I am head high in notes and my book on Chemistry. But, it inspired me to make a post. Go science! I really have to say that while I want to shoot myself right now, while I keep looking over at my girlfriend wishing I could lay with her rather than do this and while I am starving, I really love it. It’s an extremely stressful major, but I love it. Everything about it is great except for the slightly depressing fact that for the rest of my life, as a scientist that is, I will never prove anything. I will only support things.
That sounds depressing, but in reality, that’s how a hypothesis works. You can only support it. If anyone that reads this blog, though, has not chosen a major yet for college, please think about science. It’s a really fulfilling career and while I am only a student, every day, I learn something new that I know I will use in the future. Who can say that about every other major? Sure, a lot of majors are like that, but then some are not. I learn something new everyday and it is so great. I guess this post was inspired by my notes and the fact I have a huge exam tomorrow. I love science even though it makes me crazy. It really is great. Take care! And sorry for the random post. :p
It takes a lot out of me to write these blog posts. Buy me a beer to cool me off!

I think that aspiring to be a doctor is a very hard decision to make and even harder to uphold. Good luck and I hope it all works out for you in the end Jacob.

Well the best thing you can do and the way to fame is to develop a useful theory that no one else can disprove. Easier said than done I know.

A scientist’s role is to add to the weight of proof, not not prove anything outright. Good luck, mate.

Nothing can ever be proven though, Steven. Because at any time, it can be disproved.

Isn’t that what I said? You need to add to the weight of proof, precisely because absolute proof is nearly impossible to achieve in most cases.
