Is there ever just too much? At one time, my theory was that I wanted to have a few large sites and that was it. However, it appears that I am starting to venture towards owning more than just a few sites. And, it’s true. I currently own a science forum and a blog about how to make money. I run an arcade site and a site about the women of rock. Then, of course, there’s this site about paying for medical school. Alright, so, maybe I don’t own all that many sites and perhaps my sites are not that big. However, sometimes, you need to do new things. I am always updating my blogs, the science forum is growing, and once I learn how to put borders around images, I’ll be adding more pages for She Shouted.
But, sometimes you need to have something else. Now…I’m not going to tell you what the site is yet. Hell, I’m not going to tell you for probably a week or two. You may be asking me why I would want to keep it a secret. There are two reasons. The first is because it will take time for me to get enough blog posts up that I feel confident in its ability to gain traffic. The second is because I need to wait for my partner to get back from a vacation so the two of us can work on it and decide on a few things, such as domain name and what themes we want and the such. But, while I wait, I guess I can kick back and read a good book.
Now, if you can’t catch the hint yet, you never will. What I can tell you is that it will require more than adsense on it. Because we’ll be talking about a particular product, I might be able to sign up to a good affiliate program and maybe get some good money coming in that way. Who knows, though? I do know that I will be looking into setting up some good linking to it so that I can get some search engine traffic. Who knows, though? Maybe people will like the site so much, they’ll come back every few days. That’s the one thing that’ll suck is that my ability to create a new post everyday won’t be there. The products will take some time to write about and prepare. That’s alright, though. So long as you are able to provide content on a consistent basis, that’s all that matters. So, until then, I’ll be working heavily on my science forum and my blog about how to make money. Check them out if you want!
