Hiring a Blogger

Network 1 Comment »

This blog post is proudly sponsored by: North Californian Cars a site that has a lot of information about different used cars in the Northern California area.  It looks like a great site.  Nice design and lists lots of cars in the area.  Check them out.

I was reading Allen Heat’s blog today about how he hired some bloggers for one of his sites and the idea intrigued me a little bit.  When I write content, I usually charge three cents an article, which equals about $15.00 an article for 500 words.  Now, I know a lot of people think that this isn’t that much, but when there are people willing to write articles for a penny a word, I can afford to turn the cost of writing one article and turn it into three articles.  I did that once for something else.  I paid $45.00 for a series of articles and sold them for $60.00.  I always thought about doing that, but wondered if it was a good idea.

Anyways…So, I was trying to decide whether or not I wanted to hire a blogger for a new site that I was thinking of making.  You see, Sci Freak is a site that specializes on news in science.  It has articles about the latest things going on in science or certain topics that I find interesting.  What I want to make is a blog that is about biology as a whole.  Instead of it being the news, I want it to be a blog that is about all different topics of biology.  It can describe what E Coli is or it can describe the make up of a cell with all its organelles.  I think that this site could really be good if it was well researched.  Since so many writers under price themselves, it could make a profit.  Does anyone recommend hiring bloggers or should I make the blog myself and get it somewhere and then hire bloggers when the site is making money?  Your advice would be good.

Registerfly is No More

This blog post is proudly sponsored by: Spy Review, a site hat has all this awesome information about different spy gadgets.  Definitely a site to check out, I recommend it.

A lot of people have complained about the problems with Registerfly and because of this, their supplier, Enom, has decided that their time has come. Because of this, a lot of people might lose out on their domain names.  You see, while you might have registered your domain name via Registerfly, the actual registration of the domain takes place up the line at Enom.  And since Registerfly has been giving a lot of problems to their clients and this has an effect on Enom, the company has decided to let them go.

If you have a domain name that is registered at Registerfly, contact Enom and the domain can be easily transfered to an Enom account.  However, if you wait too long, the domain names might be lost forever and you’ll have to re-register them, risking losing them for good.  I highly advise anyone that uses Registerfly to get their domain names over to Enom right away!  Good luck everyone!
