My friend is a very passionate sports followers, so for him to make websites and write articles about sports is a piece of cake.  But, for me, it is something that requires more focus and more work because I don’t really watch sports.  Now, I’ve been thinking about the possibility of making some sports websites, but I am not sure if they are worth it.  Do I make them and maybe make a dollar or two a day, or do I not worry about it?  I could probably focus and write content for about a month or so, but I’d grow restless quickly unless I saw a nice increase in adsense profits.  Do you think that I should stay away from the sports sites or do you think that they are an amazing profit maker and I should hop into the market?

Now, since I am a science major, I’ve often wondered whether I should stick to that since it is my specialty.  Specifically, I am pre-med, so would it be ideal that I focus around health related sites?  Should I write about neurology, cardiology, and things along those lines?  I wonder if it would be a good idea to stick to that or if I should branch out.  I do know that if I were to stick to just health sites, I could create a rather intricate network of link exchanges allowing for a nice amount of traffic to be exchanged amongst the sites.  However, is it a good idea to create just health sites?  Is there money in it or is it something that I would do as more of an interest rather than a profit maker as discussed a few posts back?

Finally, I have been wondering about celebrity sites.  There are a lot of actors and actresses out there that I could create sites about.  But, what I wonder is how worthy they are.  Do they really promise rewards or are they just attempts at maybe a dollar or two profit a day?  I wouldn’t want to put a whole lot of work into a single site and then never see any return on it.  Granted, I could probably sell it, but I don’t really like the thought of selling sites.  Once again, I could link exchange all of the different celebrity sites to get an increase in page rank and also get an increase in traffic for my site.  So, what do you recommend?

I know that I ask a lot of my readers for their advice, but I figure that, while this is my journey, it is also your journey.  You are following along with me with every post I make and probably check out every site I make.  So, I figure that I should try and get some advice from you all.  I appreciate everything from you readers and I look forward to reading all of your comments.  Now I am going to hop off and play some Wii with my girlfriend and roommates.  Remember what I said…You need to nurture your relationships and that is what I am going to do.  And tomorrow I go to New York City for a show with her.  Have a great night!

This post includes me cracking down on three things.  The first is my education, the second is, of course, my businesses, and finally my relationship.  So, first and foremost…Finals are finally here, which is great because then I can spend a lot of time working on business.  But, they are in hard classes.  Being a science major is not easy, so I have to really study hard these next two weeks.  Granted, I will have a lot of time next week before the two tests.  But, I need to focus on my Math and then this weekend, write a five page research paper as my final grade in English.  Then it’s just my two sciences.  So, I don’t expect to get a lot of work done these next two weeks, but once the semester is over, business, here I come!

Now, I do have plans about business.  Firstly, I have a domain www.neurologysource.com and I am trying to decide how to put it together.  Firstly, I could get a site designed that is an actual site.  It would be cool and I had my mother start putting together something, but then some things came up.  So, I would either have to buy it or use my option two.  Option two is to just make it into a blog.  I have about twelve articles, so if I posted every other day, that would last me twenty four days.  I could write a few more articles from the beginning, so hopefully by the time the month was done, I’d have made some money from adsense to purchase more articles.  If you don’t know what my battle plan for business is yet, then let me explain.

I am going to build a site.  I will add the content necessary for it and get it so that it is earning money.  Then, once it is earning something nice, I will take that money and start to buy content for that site and then create another site.  That way, I never have to look back at the other site and write about it again.  As I add more and more sites, I’ll get more money, hopefully, and continue to increase in fresh content for my sites and thus increase the profits even more.  I figure that if I were to update every other day for my sites, then I’d really get some nice money.  But, that’s my battle plan.  Do you all think it is a good idea or not really?

Now, my relationship.  I have learned that you really need to nurture a relationship for it to work.  You can’t just expect it to be wonderful.  My Mom once taught me this lesson.  She said that you need to continue to put into the bank because one day, you could really go into debt and need the money.  Well, affection is the money into the bank and a big fight is the debt.  I’ve learned this previous week that I really need to continue to nurture my relationship.  I love my girlfriend and I don’t want to lose her, so, I figure it’s time that I really learn the art of nurturing.  Running a business, going to school, finding time for my theater and then having time to spend time with the girl I love is extremely hard, but you know I wouldn’t ask for it any other way.  Anyways…I have an early Math class tomorrow, so I need to get to bed.  Have a great night.
